Day 29

These thunderstorms are really something.  Very intense lighting strikes, torrential rain and wind.  Normally during a rain storm the water will flow down the sides of the street along the curb-line.  Today the water was flowing uniformly across the  entire street.

George came and brought us some beef stew.  Hazel was in the midst of a meltdown and George was able to calm her almost right away.  I learned a few things and am grateful for that.  Also, I’m extremely grateful for the beef stew.

Hazel is so fussy.  She comes unhinged so fast and I can’t help her at all.  Its really frustrating.  Kate can sooth her but I feel useless.
